Due to the current COVID-19 situation and guidance provided by the government, The Health and Wellness Hub have now closed its Albert street office and all staff are working remotely. They can still be contacted either via email or on office number (01698 262437)
All community based services with the exception of our North Lanarkshire Shopmobility have also been postponed until further notice.
We have been trying to engage with users over the last week to ensure we put some other service in place that still supports them, as the last thing we want is for those who are most vulnerable to become even more vulnerable, isolated and lonely.
So to prevent this from happening, we will be sharing a variety of online resources that will be relevant to people’s needs and issues as they arise but as you are aware, a lot of these issues will be unknown until we see how this crisis develops, so bear with us on this.
What we will be sharing over the coming days and weeks though, is information that will help keep your safe and emotionally & physically well. The information we will share will either be directly from The Health and Wellness Hub or information received from our third and statutory sector colleagues which we will share.
To ensure you receive this info, please make sure you link with our social media channels or have given us your most up to date contact information. For those that don’t have internet access, please provide us with either a landline or mobile number and we will be in contact so you are included in regular updates from us. Please also share our plans with your neighbours who are isolated and vulnerable too, so we can widen this support service to those who need it most!
We understand that this crisis is going to affects everyone’s mental health, so we aim to be providing as much self-care information FREE OF CHARGE to anyone who needs it, so you can look after yourselves.
